This website is a bit of a rarity in that we offer advice that most people would make you pay for. There is a whole industry of financial advisers out there and they charge a great deal of money for their services. This does raise the question of why are we offering financial advice for free? The answer is that we think that being able to manage your finances is so important that we want to help as many people as possible.

The main reason that we offer free advice on this website is that most people who really need the advice won't pay for it. This is a bit odd given how important your finances are but the fact remains that most people simply won't pay for it. The reason is that they assume that it isn't all that hard for them to figure out on their own. Unfortunately in many cases by the time they have figured out that they do need help they are already in serious financial trouble. Since we don't want to see anybody get themselves into this situation we have chosen to offer free advice.

Of course the people who are most in need of financial advice are the ones who are in serious trouble. In most cases those people won't be able to pay for the advice that they need and are going to be looking to find it free. Since we really want to be able to help the people who are in a tough spot financially we will provide them the advice that they need to get themselves out of trouble free of charge.

We also firmly believe that you should learn about how to manage your finances on your own. In truth there is no reason that you shouldn't be able to do this except that nobody ever bothers to teach you how. We firmly believe that teaching you how to deal with your money is far more valuable than simply hiring somebody to tell you what to do. In large part this requires us to give the information away for free to get it to as many people as we possibly can since it is unlikely that people are going to pay to learn this stuff.

One thing that you should keep in mind is that what we are offering you is free advice that will apply to most people. That does not mean that it will apply in every case or that it is sufficient to deal with every problem. If you do have a serious financial problem or if you have read through the advice that we have offered and you still don't know what to do you are going to need the services of a professional adviser. They will be able to offer you advice that will apply specifically to your situation.
